Job Description
The Accountant / Financial Accountant role involves supporting the review, coding, and booking of business transactions. Responsibilities include maintaining and reconciling accounts, fixed asset accounting, coordinating the dunning process, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements according to HGB. Collaboration with the Finance team to improve processes and serving as a point of contact for accounting-related questions are also key aspects of the role.
Requirements
- Successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship and/or a degree with a focus on finance / taxes
- Relevant professional experience in accounting
- Expertise in payment transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Proficient in using DATEV accounting software
- High-quality standards, reliability, and a sense of responsibility
- Team player with good organizational skills
- Existing gaming and/or esports affinity (desired)
- Profound knowledge of commercial law (HGB) (desired)
- Business fluency in German or English (desired)
