Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior FMD Associate Controls Specialist experience preferred
- One or more of the following required: Associate Degree in Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, or Power Generation Technology with four years’ experience in a related field, or Four years’ experience in a related field (including three years of electrical/motion controls experience)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical line diagrams and blueprints
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems
- Working knowledge of pneumatic, PLC, and electronic engine controls
- Experience with standby generator and engine operation and maintenance
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility for company credit card
- Travel required up to 75%
- Must hold a valid U.S. Passport or be able to obtain one within 3 months of hire
- Must meet NOFORN requirements for access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information — proof of U.S. Citizenship required
- Must be able to regularly lift at least 35 pounds
