Maintenance Supervisor

Fairfield is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of our apartment communities, ensuring the upkeep and happiness of our residents. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in apartment or building maintenance, strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair, and the ability to read and comprehend budgets. Supervisory experience and certification in HVAC-EPA and/or CPO are preferred.

Requirements

• Three or more years' hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work
• HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification is required
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification strongly preferred
• Supervisory experience required
• Experience with Yardi or other property management accounting software
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations
• Availability to be on-call and responsive to after hour emergencies
• A valid driver's license is required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays
