Referrals Specialist

Family Care Center is seeking a Referrals Specialist to manage the registration and screening process for patients seeking or being referred for Medication Management, Psychotherapy and TMS therapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls, documenting patient information, verifying patient eligibility, and scheduling appointments based on intake assessments and provider matrix.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associates degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
• One year customer service or call center experience required
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance or medical billing preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
