The Coordinator of Advocacy is responsible for coordinating and supervising program activities, supervising direct service staff, and developing program initiatives to increase the agency's capacity to fulfill its mission.
Requirements
- BA or MA in Human Services or minimum of 5 years relevant experience including supervisory.
- Training and experience in program management and personnel relations.
- Possess 'out of the box' thinking and resourcefulness.
- Ability to work effectively when under extreme pressure.
- Possess compassion and empathy.
- Ability to develop and maintain working relationships within respective law enforcement agencies, other community agencies and stakeholders.
- Ability to remain organized and complete administrative tasks, such as documenting activities and maintaining up-to-date records, in a timely manner.
- Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of an e-mail package and MS software programs: Word and Excel.
