Job Description
Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking a Data Engineer III to build and maintain their shared data architecture. This role involves designing, building, and managing core data platform components, architecting enterprise-grade solutions, developing cost management tools, and ensuring secure data access. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building data-driven platforms to empower others and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
- Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data solutions
- Familiarity with cloud-native development practices (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing principles
