Job Description
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing the production processes in a manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient and timely product delivery while meeting quality standards. This role involves supervision of team, optimizing processes, managing resources, and maintaining safety and compliance. The manager will collaborate with other departments to improve performance and address production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field
- Lean Manufacturing Certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by APICS
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- OSHA Safety Certification
- Extensive experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Significant experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a manufacturing setting
- Proven track record of managing production operations and meeting production targets
