Job Description
Lunar Biosciences is seeking a talented and passionate Sr./Staff Scientist to join their growing team. The role involves leading chemistry efforts to develop innovative chemical processes for their sequencing technology, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to build core chemistry solutions. The position is part of a fast-paced startup environment focused on protein and biomarker development.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in organic, medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering
- 5+ years of professional experience in a biotech or pharma environment
- Experience with proximity ligation, surface chemistry/ bead assay development, solid-phase synthesis, and advanced purification techniques
- Proficiency in mass spectrometry, HPLC, and NMR
- Deep understanding of Edman degradation in protein sequencing chemistry
- Strong problem-solving skills
