Element Biosciences is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Scientist to join their Biochemistry team. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing biochemical and molecular workflows for tissue-based multiomic applications, leading product development efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This bench-focused position offers significant responsibility for deliverables and collaboration on complex projects.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and optimize biochemical workflows and reagents for tissue-based multiomic applications
• Integrate and test new chemistries and enzymatic methods to improve assay performance, robustness, and reproducibility
• Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, chemistry, and software teams
• Analyze complex datasets and contribute to data interpretation
• Prepare detailed documentation, present findings, and contribute to publications
