Fatshark is a Swedish game development studio looking for a Procedural Technical Artist to join their team. The role involves creating high-quality game environments using non-destructive workflows, establishing core procedural environmental workflows, and pushing for new technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least a year of experience as a Technical Artist in the video game industry
- Previous experience in creating procedural tools and assets
- Good knowledge of Houdini
- Previous experience with and good knowledge of Unreal Engine 5
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Python/Lua/VEX) and Blueprints or any other visual scripting languages
- Good understanding of common art workflows and their pros & cons
- Skills in graph or text-based shader authoring (such as Unreal SG / Unity SG /HLSL)
- Great understanding of modern rendering pipelines
- Strong drive and a habit of organizing and structuring your own and others work
- Excellent communication skills, including high proficiency in English
