Job Description
WTAE, an ABC affiliate in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Local News Photographer to capture the essence of stories in the field and bring them into the homes of viewers. The role involves shooting, editing, and executing creative live shots, as well as working with newscasts and editors. The photographer will be responsible for creating high-quality videos and photographs for broadcast and online platforms.
Requirements
- Shooting and editing of VOs, VO-SOTs and packages for broadcast air and online postings
- Work with the Assignment Desk and Reporters to cover daily stories
- Shoot on assigned professional camera equipment
- Edit in Adobe Premiere and use ENG, SNG, and wireless data
- Gather video and still pictures for digital platforms
- Produce and publish content to our online platforms
- Organization and attention to gear/equipment maintenance
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must operate digital editing tools
- Can work in all weather conditions
- Must be up to 50 pounds of equipment
