Weekend Fabricator

Setting up and operating machines that cut, bend, saw, and punch steel into parts used in the assembly process. Assisting with process improvement and lean initiatives, moving materials between work centers, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic math knowledge to set up and operate machines accurately
• Ability to manually move product and materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read job specifications and perform basic computer data entry
• Wide field of vision for coordinated efforts with co-workers
• Ability to stand and work in various positions on concrete for several hours at a time
• Team player working with co-workers, other departments, and/or other TBEI facilities
• Ability to learn operations of multiple machines/jigs within a job area
• Ability to work at a reasonable pace and within quality standards
• Ability to work in a safe manner following safety procedures
