Job Description
The Head of US Government & Labor Relations will manage US labor and government relationships, supporting investment opportunities and structuring portfolios. This role focuses on collaboration with labor unions, investor relations, and advocating for policies aligned with Fengate's mission. Responsibilities include designing labor strategies, stakeholder engagement, government relations, and sales support.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, industrial relations, communications, etc.).
- 10+ years of experience in a US labor and/or government relations, strategy, or similar role.
- Experience in deal origination, construction project management, and/or institutional sales.
- Experience working with construction trade unions and the US general contractor community.
- People managerial experience required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Versatility and ability to work across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Professional conduct reflecting the quality of work, demeanor, ethical values and high standards of Fengate.
