Job Description
Figure is an AI robotics company developing humanoid robots with human-level intelligence. They are seeking a Validation Engineer to develop and execute validation and testing for critical electrical subsystems, focusing on Compute, Power Distribution, Charging, and Battery Management. The role involves hands-on validation across the full robot readiness lifecycle.
Requirements
- Develop and execute bench-top validation plans for electrical and mechatronic subsystems.
- Design and implement test setups and interfaces, including PCBA fixtures, instrumentation, and automation scripts.
- Plan and oversee subsystem validation through the integration stages – from prototype hardware to full robot operation.
- Perform data-driven testing for power, communication, and thermal performance.
- Conduct failure analysis to identify root causes, define corrective actions, and verify fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align validation with robot-level requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of validation test plans, procedures, and results.
