Filevine is forging the future of legal work with cloud-based workflow tools. We're seeking a Director of Business Development to lead the strategic vision, growth, and performance of Filevine's BDR organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of BDR/SDR leadership experience
- Proven success building, scaling, and leading high-performing BDR organizations in high-growth SaaS environments
- Deep proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce and Salesloft
- Strong analytical, operational, and strategic planning skills with a demonstrated ability to manage through data and optimize performance
- Experience developing outbound strategies, playbooks, and GTM motions aligned with revenue goals
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop frontline managers while building scalable leadership pipelines
- Strong communication skills, including confident executive-level presentation and cross-functional influence
- Successful track record collaborating across Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Product to drive unified GTM outcomes
- Experience in legal tech, workflow automation, or adjacent SaaS industries (preferred)
- Background scaling teams within rapidly growing or PE-backed organizations (preferred)
- Familiarity with multi-segment or multi-product GTM structures (preferred)
- Experience designing scalable enablement, onboarding, or training programs (preferred)
- Advanced understanding of forecasting, capacity planning, and sales operations (preferred)
- Ability to lead through change with adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments (preferred)
