Event Technology Manager

FIRST is seeking an Event Technology Manager to assist with the implementation and support of new technology platforms for clients in the Financial Services industry. The role involves managing event registration, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with the events team to ensure successful program execution. This position requires a blend of analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in Event Technology and Attendee Management
• Proficiency in Cvent FLEX (Required)
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Proficient programming skills of HTML and CSS is beneficial
• Strong proficiency with registration website platforms such as Cvent, Bizzabo, Certain, Qualtrics or other registration website platforms
• Experience with virtual meeting and event platforms such as Intrado, GlobalMeet / TalkPoint, Zoom, WebEx, SpotMe, Concise Chime or other virtual meeting and event platforms
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office – specifically with Excel (i.e. comfortable with VLOOKUP function) and PowerPoint
• Advanced project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels
• Extensive industry knowledge of new suppliers, services, and best practices
• Strong client management skills with the ability to influence and lead by example
