Job Description
Fitch Group, a leading global financial information services provider, is seeking an Associate Director of Software Engineering for either the New York or Chicago office. The company delivers credit and risk insights, data, and tools to the financial markets. The role involves leading software development, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with product owners and service providers to achieve project success.
Requirements
- Full stack software engineer with extensive experience in software development
- Expertise in software engineering practices, including continuous integration/delivery
- Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Java and unit testing
- Experience with MongoDB, RDS, and content management systems (Contentful, Drupal)
- Experience with REST, JSON, OpenAPI and AWS services
- Experience with Spring Boot and AI API standards (e.g., MCP, A2A)
- Knowledge of LLMs and agentic AI
