The Accountant III performs accounting functions, including reconciliations, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of financial information. The position reviews/posts routine & non-routine journal entries in the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers; prepares/reviews account reconciliations; prepares audit schedules and contributes to management reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Management, or Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.
- Five years of accounting experience.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Ability to establish goals and priorities and make decisions based on processes and institutional policies.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, Workday, or other ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; be self-motivated and flexible.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
