Job Description
The Social Studies Teacher will engage students in critical thinking, civic awareness, and historical analysis while fostering a deeper understanding of local, national, and global perspectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in History, Social Studies Education, or related field
- Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification in Social Studies (Grades 9–12)
- Knowledge of US and World History content, primary source analysis, and historical thinking skills
- Familiarity with NJSLS and instructional technology
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience teaching high school social studies preferred
