Job Description
Ford’s Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team is seeking a Charging Systems Modeling Engineer to contribute to the development of sustainable transportation solutions. The role involves creating and modifying models, conducting sensitivity analyses, working closely with engineering teams, and ensuring vehicle performance is optimized. Requirements
- Create and modify tools of different fidelity for the HV and LV bus, power conversion device controls and charging system predictions.
- Run sensitivity analyses to understand the design space and tradeoffs.
- Model improvements with on-road vehicle usage data.
- Support presentations of concepts and status to senior management and internally to Company personnel.
