As a Process Engineer (Stators) at Ford Motor Company, you will help build smart vehicles and develop new technologies and processes to increase efficiency. You will work in a cross-functional team to plan and implement the launch of new vehicle programs and collaborate with Product Development to generate facility & tooling costs, improve quality, and reduce labor requirements.
Requirements
- Deliver Manufacturing and Quality Operating System requirements for Powertrain eMotor (Rotor/Stator)
- Collaborate with Product Development team to generate facility & tooling costs, improve quality, and reduce labor requirements
- Use virtual tools to evaluate the feasibility of new model designs for high volume manufacturing operations
- Write/modify/maintain process sheets and deliver an entire process
- Lead identification, resolution, and closure of eMotor, Assembly, Test, Controls, Ergonomics, Safety and other feasibility issues
- Create and follow a master schedule for the design, build, and implementation of tools in your subsystem
- Lead assembly and other start-up activities associated with commissioning at the manufacturing site
- Support Department Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Morale, Environment, and Innovation initiatives
