Fortinet is seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist to join the Atlanta, GA, team. This role focuses on providing expert technical support and escalation to customers and partners, enhancing Customer Success and Support, while ensuring effective communication and collaboration with QA and development. The specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting, configuration change recommendations, customer education, and issue resolution using Fortinet's products, especially FortiGate.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a technical support or system administration role in a networking/security company
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent training and experience
- Deep working knowledge of operating systems -- Windows, OSX, Unix/Linux
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, L2/L3 switching
- Experience with security products -firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, virus scanning
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience with AI tools (optional)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
