Senior Technical Support Specialist

Fortinet is seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist to join their Atlanta team. The role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, technical help, and escalation for customers and partners, particularly in Fortinet's core FortiGate products. The specialist will troubleshoot customer issues, provide education, and work collaboratively with QA and development teams to improve the customer experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a technical support or system administration role
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field
• Deep working knowledge of operating systems (Windows, OSX, Unix/Linux)
• Experience with security products (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, virus scanning)
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in the office 3-5 days a week
• Possibility of an on-Call rotation
