Job Description
Fortinet is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join their R&D team. This role is responsible for reviewing requirements, creating test plans, designing test cases, and developing automated scripts to evaluate devices, protocols, interfaces, and applications. The QA Engineer will identify and address risks, ensuring release readiness and efficiency. They will contribute to work assistance systems and provide guidance on development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of relevant experience, with automation development/testing experience.
- Strong understanding of test processes and methodologies.
- 3+ years of experience in development using Python.
- Proficient in using Linux/Unix systems.
- 3+ years of experience using Robot Framework.
- Understanding of various test tools, including RESTful API, Selenium, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, etc.
