Staff Software Dev QA Engineer

Fortinet is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join their R&D team. This role involves creating test plans, developing automated scripts, debugging, and collaborating on solutions to ensure product reliability and accuracy. The successful candidate will contribute to work efficiency and assist in developing new tools and processes. This is an integral part of the R&D team, ensuring product productivity, reliability, and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, with automation development/testing experience.
• Strong understanding of test processes and methodologies.
• Good knowledge of Firewall, IPSec, SSL, IdP, BGP, SDWAN, and TCP/IP networking.
• Proficient in using Linux/Unix systems.
• 3+ years of experience in development using Python.
• 3+ years of experience using Robot Framework.
• Understanding of various test tools and concepts (RESTful API, Selenium, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, etc.).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
