The Nurse Analyst (LPN/RN) applies knowledge of nursing and informatics to assist in the maintenance and support of Franklin County Medical Center’s (FCMC) selected Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Requirements
- Maintain EHRs user accounts and permissions
- Build and maintain workflows, templates, schedules, order sets, and any other necessary components for the organization, in the EHR
- Develop, present, and deliver training programs and materials to clinical staff
- Identify problems, bugs, and deficiencies within the EHRs and address these concerns with the EHR vendor
- Assist in the evaluation, design, and implementation of EHRs
- Maintain point-of-care equipment & related contracts
- Work as a liaison between FCMC’s clinical and Information Technology (IT) staff
- Maintain confidentiality by protecting sensitive, proprietary, or confidential information
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
