We are looking for a research assistant in the field of machine tool technology to strengthen our team at the earliest possible date. The department focuses on the development, design, and analysis of the properties of production machines and their components. A growing focus is on digitization, particularly in connection with intelligent components, digital machine twins, and software-based assistance systems.
Requirements
- Acquisition, leadership, and processing of research and development projects in the fields of structure simulation, intelligent systems, and machine development
- Development of innovative solution approaches to shift technological process boundaries
- Planning and evaluation of complex test series, interpretation of test results, and derivation of action plans
- Building and maintenance of customer relationships, evaluation of customer inquiries
- Preparation of research results for reports and contributions in specialist journals as well as presentations at national and international conferences and meetings
