Abschlussarbeit im Bereich Modellierung und Simulation von Produktionsanlagen

The Fraunhofer Society is seeking a Master's Thesis candidate to work on modeling and simulation of production systems in the IIOT-Steuerungen and Technical Cybernetics department in Dresden, DE. The candidate will work with physics-based simulation tools and software for virtual commissioning, and will have the opportunity to work on various topics such as interdisciplinary modeling, detailed modeling of complex electromechanical plant components, and model export for use as a black box.

Requirements

• Enrollment in the study program Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or comparable subjects
• Fluent German or English language skills in word and writing
• High level of self-initiative and team spirit
• Analytical thinking, motivation, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary tasks
• Experience in modeling and simulation of technical systems
• Basic understanding of the electromechanical structure of production machines
• Programming knowledge is an advantage
• Structured working method and documentation skills
