Job Description
The Scheduling/Surgical Coordinator is responsible for scheduling surgery, endoscopy, and eye laser procedures, as well as entering case record data and reports for Perioperative Services. This role supports the Frederick Health mission, vision, and core values, and adheres to regulatory requirements and the FH Standards of Behavior.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of medical/surgical terminology
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate work when frequently interrupted
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Proficiency in the use of appointment scheduling and Microsoft Office software applications
