Principal Software Engineer

Freedom Technology Solutions Groups is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join their team, offering a fully onsite position in St. Louis, MO. The role involves developing and maintaining applications using Java, JavaScript, or Python, with a focus on relational databases, micro-services, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in agile methodologies and have demonstrated experience in CI/CD and user stories for full-service applications.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in at least four of the following: Java, JavaScript or Python enterprise application development
• Demonstrated experience with relational database design
• Demonstrated experience with micro-service architecture, design and development
• Demonstrated experience with Agile and Lean philosophies
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD techniques
• Experience with containerization and/or Orchestration
• Experience with API Development
• Demonstrated experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
