Senior Software Engineer

Freedom Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in St. Louis, MO. This role involves full-time onsite work in a fast-paced environment focused on developing Java, JavaScript, or Python enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and cloud-based services.

Requirements

• Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Web services architecture, design, and development
• Relational database design
• Spatial database design
• Micro-service architecture, design and development
• Containerization and/or Orchestration
• API Development
• Cloud Native Development, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
• Agile development certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with agile and lean philosophies
• Experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CI/CD)
• Experience working independently with clients or stakeholders
• Experience in integration and tailoring of geospatial software
• Experience with government and/or commercial imagery products
• Experience with common geospatial tools and operating platforms
• Master of Science or equivalent degree in Computer Science
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in Computer Science
