Job Description
Paraprofessional, Special Education provides assistance to students and staff in a classroom or media center. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation, assisting with routine tasks, and participating in training. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must pass the GACE para assessment
- Hold an Associate's Degree or higher at a GaPSC-accepted accredited institution is acceptable
- Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate required
- 0 – 1 year experience required
- Classroom experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to kneel, reach, and pull
