The special education paraprofessional (categorical) position involves assisting students and staff in the classroom or media center. Responsibilities include teaching, assisting with daily routines, and supporting learning objectives. The paraprofessional may assist with Dual Immersion Model preparation. Must have a valid GAPSC certificate, along with the ability to pass the GACE para assessment. 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of grade of C or better required.
