Job Description
The Special Education Paraprofessional (Kindergarten) in Bethune, Mary Mcleod Elementary, assists students and staff with instructional needs. Duties include providing educational materials, assisting with daily routines, and maintaining learning centers. This position involves classroom work, assisting with various tasks, and providing support to students with learning disabilities, depending on the Dual Immersion Model.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- GCAPASS Certificate
- Experience in classroom or with children (0-1 year preferred)
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills
