Job Description
Fuse is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Quality Engineering Technician to join our energetic and growing team! This is an opportunity to work closely with Quality Management providing reliable reports and process improvement recommendations to monitor and improve overall product quality.
Requirements
- Verify incoming and in-process material and products are in compliance with Fuse’s drawings and specifications
- Coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) activities including data input, reporting and material disposition
- Identify potential continuous improvement opportunities through production and inspection
- Assist in the implementation process improvements
- Perform first article inspections
- Develop and maintain production inspection reports
- Ensure that production is not hindered by quality testing procedures
- Support continuous improvement in the Quality Management System
- Assist in ISO 9001 audits
- Collaborate across teams to develop, implement and maintain tools to measure performance to improve quality and productivity
- Report quality issues and anomalies to appropriate managers
- Collate test and inspection data to facilitate quality reporting
