Job Description
Fusemachines is a 10+ year old AI company looking for a Sr. Django Backend Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining efficient Python code for Django application, interacting with PostgreSQL databases, and working with various services and systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Backend Web Developer
- Expert-level proficiency in Python 3.12
- Deep expertise with the Django framework
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and management
- Hands-on experience with Redis and AWS S3
- Proficient in implementing and managing various authentication systems
- Experience with Temporal or other workflow orchestration systems
- Solid understanding of the Django ORM
- Prior experience in logistics and supply chain projects
- Proven ability to work asynchronously with minimal guidance and collaborate effectively with global teams
