Job Description
The Senior Accountant position involves full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple entities in Cyprus, focusing on AP/AR management, payroll, VAT compliance, and tax returns. The role requires strong understanding of Cyprus-local financial regulations and proficiency with financial systems like 1C.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of hands-on Accounting experience in Cyprus
- Good understanding of first employment tax incentive, and ideally ITBox regime
- Proven experience with Cyprus financial regulations, including VAT filings, IR7/IR603 submissions, and tax compliance
- Proficiency with Cyprus-local accounting systems / proficiency with 1C
- Experience with holding structures: intercompany contracts, accounting for group entities
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (daily usage required)
- ACA, ACCA (partly/fully qualified) is a plus
