Job Description
This role is for a Senior Accountant based in Nicossia, Cyprus, focused on full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, and tax compliance. The company is a fintech with a strong growth potential, offering career development opportunities and a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of hands-on Accounting experience in Cyprus, including full ownership of payroll processes.
- Good understanding of ‘first employment’ tax incentive.
- Proven experience with Cyprus financial regulations, including VAT filings, IR7/IR603 submissions, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency with Cyprus-local accounting systems / proficiency with 1C is a plus
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- ACA, ACCA (partly/fully qualified) is a plus
- Experience in FinTech, high-risk industries, or IT holding companies will be considered a strong advantage
- Fluent Russian and English (written and spoken), Greek is a plus
