Job Description
GCI is seeking an entry-level Network Maintenance & Construction Technician I to provide excellent customer service for telecommunications solutions. This role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining equipment such as video, high-speed data, and voice products, ensuring system reliability and proactively resolving issues. The technician will also oversee maintenance of network infrastructure, operate heavy equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Certified in NAZ power safety training or obtain certification within one year.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation and excavation.
- Experience with cable splicing and fiber optic transport.
- Knowledge of radio frequency, microwave, fiber optic, and AC/DC networks.
