Job Description
Geeks on Site is seeking a reliable, on-call IT Field Technician to provide support for PCs, Macs, printers, and scanners. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and configuring hardware/software, and resolving technical issues for residential and small business customers. Technicians will be dispatched to customer sites and work independently, with job opportunities based on availability.
Requirements
- 2+ years of field IT support experience, including computer and printer work
- Familiarity with Canon, HP, and other common printer brands
- Knowledge of error code troubleshooting (e.g., Canon code 1700, boot issues)
- Experience with both Windows (10/11) and macOS troubleshooting
- Personal tools (bootable USB, screwdriver set, etc.)
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Smartphone with camera and data for documentation and communication
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor
