Job Description
Geeks on Site is seeking a skilled IT field technician to provide on-site support for computers, Macs, printers, and scanners. This is a remote, independent contractor role offering flexible hours and opportunities to join a growing network of technicians. The technician will diagnose and repair hardware, troubleshoot issues, and configure devices for customers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of field IT support experience
- Familiarity with Canon, HP, and other common printer brands
- Knowledge of error code troubleshooting (e.g., Canon code 1700, boot issues, driver conflicts)
- Experience with both Windows (10/11) and macOS troubleshooting
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Smartphone with camera and data for documentation and communication
