Job Description
The Composite Technician III role at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. involves performing various non-routine and non-repetitive procedures in the fabrication, curing, build-up, and assembly of composite materials. The role requires working under limited supervision, operating in a loud environment, and following blueprints, templates, and other authorized information.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Five or more years of related experience
- Ability to verbally communicate, read and comprehend written and verbal instructions, detailed blueprints and other similar authorized drawings and documents
- Basic mathematical calculations
- Use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and common shop tools
- Respirator certification
- Ability to work in a loud environment, work extended hours, and lift assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance
