Job Description
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager V to join our DevOps group in Poway, CA. This executive management position directly oversees teams of DevOps Engineers, Software Configuration Specialists, and Tool Developers.
Requirements
- Manage all activities for Software Engineering DevOps group
- Participate in and coordinate the establishment of design concepts
- Interact with internal and external representatives concerning resolution of technical and scheduling issues
- Manage the development of and ensure the security of the unit’s proprietary technology
- Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed
- Participate in the development and adherence of software development processes
- Must have a security clearance
- Demonstrates technical expertise in the application of programming and software engineering principles
- Possesses a solid understanding of modern commercial tools used during all phases of software development
- Possesses project management and leadership skills
- Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required
- Customer focused, must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and in a team environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required
- U.S. Citizenship is required
