Safety Engineer I

Under close supervision, this position provides safety engineering in identification and appraisal of loss-producing conditions and practices, participates in the development of safe work and environment procedures training, and ensures compliance with applicable federal and state OSHA standard provisions.

Requirements

• Identifies and analyzes accidental loss workplace conditions
• Conducts safety investigations and recommends corrective action
• Participates in the development of safety training
• Maintains safety manuals and documentation
• Ensures compliance with government and state health and safety regulations
