Scholar Program Coordinator (PT)

The Scholar Program Coordinator is responsible for case management and program coordination to ensure Generation Hope Scholars are participating in healthy mentoring relationships and are on track to graduation. The Scholar Program Coordinator will provide involved support to teen parents attending colleges across the DMV area, assist with program activities, and ensure Generation Hope is building and sustaining key community partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of experience working with young adults
• Excellent office and computer skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Willingness to adjust hours to accommodate the needs and schedules of Scholars and their families
• Ability to get to sites around the DC Metro area on a regular basis
• Demonstrated commitment to understanding and dismantling systemic and institutional racism
