Job Description
Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Third-Party Liability (TPL) & Medical Records Specialist to track and manage medical records, resolve claims, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. This role is crucial for maximizing revenue recovery and maintaining ethical practices in healthcare delivery.
Requirements
- Experience in medical records, revenue cycle, or TPL case management.
- Strong skills in Epic EMR, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), insurance portals, and email management.
- Understanding of HIPAA, PHI, medical records processing, TPL/subrogation laws, and healthcare revenue cycle workflows.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
