Job Description
Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Third-Party Liability (TPL) & Medical Records Specialist to manage and track claims, process medical records, and identify relevant cases. This role emphasizes compliance with HIPAA regulations and revenue cycle management while adhering to remote work policies. The specialist will work directly with healthcare professionals, attorneys, and insurance companies.
Requirements
- 2+ years in medical records, revenue cycle, or TPL case management.
- Strong skills in Epic EMR and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of HIPAA, PHI, medical records processing, TPL/subrogation laws, and healthcare revenue cycle workflows.
- Ability to track multiple cases, deadlines, and requests with precision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
