Genpact is seeking a Consultant-Desktop/Mobile end user Support to provide end-user support and log Helpdesk calls received via phone or chat into the Helpdesk system. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field and experience in desktop/mobile end-user support.
Requirements
- Provide end-user support and log Helpdesk calls received via phone or chat into the Helpdesk system
- Open, resolve, and close tickets in the IT Helpdesk system, escalating issues to other IT groups or outside vendors as appropriate
- Assist users with desktop operating systems and application software, including Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Manage Exchange user administration, messaging support, and mobile device support
- Ensure workstation virus protection and utilize spyware removal utilities
- Support remote access solutions such as VPN for RDP and RDS
- Administer Active Directory for user and device management
- Facilitate Workday connectivity and navigation, including name change support
- Provide VoIP support for users and teleconference setup
- Guide interns and update documentation as needed
- Develop and deliver end-user training sessions
- Participate in a 1-month after-hours support rotation
- Provide quotes for computer equipment purchases per Central Guidelines
