Consultant_SAP Basis/Security

Genpact is inviting applications for a Consultant_SAP Basis/Security role to support the administration, maintenance, and security of SAP systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a secure, compliant, and high-performing SAP environment.

Requirements

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.).
• Manage system upgrades, support packages, kernel upgrades, and enhancement packs.
• Perform daily system health checks, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring.
• Manage SAP system landscape including transport management and client administration.
• Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams for database, OS, and storage requirements.
• Design, implement, and manage SAP user roles and authorizations.
• Handle user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews across SAP systems.
• Conduct authorization trace analysis (SU53, ST01) to resolve access issues.
• Maintain and monitor segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX).
• Integrate and manage GRC Access Control, if applicable.
• Work with audit and compliance teams during security assessments.
• Work on SAP projects involving new implementations, system migrations, or cloud transitions (e.g., to Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams for troubleshooting and system improvements.
• Provide technical guidance during go-lives and patch management.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
