Principal Consultant_SAP Basis/Security

Genpact is seeking a skilled SAP Basis & Security Consultant to support the administration, maintenance, and security of our SAP systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the system landscape's stability, performance, and security, including user access control, role management, and system upgrades.

Requirements

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.)
• Manage system upgrades, support packages, kernel upgrades, and enhancement packs
• Perform daily system health checks, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring
• Manage SAP system landscape including transport management and client administration
• Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams for database, OS, and storage requirements
• Design, implement, and manage SAP user roles and authorizations
• Handle user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews across SAP systems
• Conduct authorization trace analysis (SU53, ST01) to resolve access issues
• Maintain and monitor segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX)
• Integrate and manage GRC Access Control, if applicable
• Work with audit and compliance teams during security assessments
• Work on SAP projects involving new implementations, system migrations, or cloud transitions (e.g., to Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams for troubleshooting and system improvements
• Provide technical guidance during go-lives and patch management
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
